I have the honour to inform you that this
Government has for some time had in mind the
desirability of improving the Broadcasting Advance
Bulletin, which has been issued by the local
broadcasting authorities, with a view to including
in it such matter as reprints of important speeches,
talks, etc., as well as advertisements from which it
is hoped to recoup sufficient revenue to cover the
expenses of issue. Upon the establishment of the
local Department of Information it was obvious that a
bulletin or review in that form would form a very
suitable channel for the dissemination of information,
and plans for its commencement have, therefore, been
expedited in anticipation of your approval.

Until experience is gained of the
circulation which will be obtained by the new review
it is difficult to estimate the probable costs of
management and issue or the extent to which these
